[1] Communication Skills
- Semester: I & II
- Duration: 26 hours
- Applicable Branches:
- Semester I: Chemistry Cycle students

This is an activity-based training program carried out by external training partners. It is designed to enhance students’ core language abilities: Listening, Speaking, Writing, and Reading (LSWR) skills.

- Duration: 26 hours

- Semester II: Chemistry Cycle students
This training program is designed to transform students into confident, adaptable, and industry-ready engineers.
[3] FEEL Employable Programme
- Semester: II
- Duration: 21 hours (3-day orientation)
This unique program is conducted by Prof. Sunney Tarappan from CLHRD, Mangalore, continuing a tradition that has run for over 28 years. The program equips students with the necessary knowledge to understand concepts, enhance their skills, and identify their internal competencies to excel in the competitive human resource market.
[4] C Programming (Technical Training)
- Semester: II
- Duration: 60 hours
- Applicable Branches: IT & Circuit-Related branches
This critical course lays the essential groundwork for understanding core programming concepts and system-level thinking. By cultivating logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities, it helps students develop a disciplined programming mindset. This focus on structured thinking and debugging skills is crucial for a successful engineering career.
[5] Logic Building & Problem Solving using C++
- Semester: III
- Duration: 26 hours
- Applicable Branches: IT & Circuit-Related branches
This skill enhancement program is introduced to prepare students for high-package company placements. The course focuses on critical thinking: analyzing situations, identifying possible solutions, and evaluating their effectiveness. Employers are looking for individuals who can tackle problems independently and efficiently to contribute to the organization’s growth.
[6] Introduction to Data Structures
- Semester: IV
- Duration: 26 hours
- Applicable Branches: IT & Circuit-Related branches
This program is a direct continuation of the “Logic Building & Problem Solving using C++” course. In this semester, students will apply the problem-solving techniques they learned and further explore how to effectively utilize Data Structures to solve complex computational problems.
[7] Advanced Technical Training Program
- Semester: IV
- Duration: 26 hours
- Applicable Branches: Core branches
This training program has been extended to core engineering branches to strengthen Python programming proficiency. By mastering these skills, students can successfully bridge the gap to IT career opportunities while gaining the technical foundation needed to explore Machine Learning in research and industrial applications.

- Semester: IV
- Duration: 90 hours

This is a comprehensive program designed to enhance programming skills for higher-package companies. The training includes 90 hours of live online sessions on the GeeksforGeeks learning platform. This training is crucial for preparing students for the requirements of product development companies.
